On National Constitution Day, November 26, Omkar International School organized a Model United Nations (MUN) event. The purpose of the event was to remind our youth that our rights come with responsibilities. The discussion focused on the rights of indigenous people around the world.
Students of OISC took on the roles of delegates from various countries, voicing the struggles of indigenous communities and exploring pathways to sustainable solutions. These delegates wielded the power to influence policy, challenge the status quo, and advocate for the preservation of indigenous cultures and ecosystems.
The event, centered on the theme of indigenous rights, highlighted the dedication and insight of our young minds as they engaged with these critical issues.
