On the vibrant morning of January 26th, 2024, OMKAR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL CBSE reverberated with patriotic fervour as it celebrated the Republic Day of India. The school premises were adorned with the tricolour, echoing the spirit of unity and diversity that defines our great nation.
The festivities commenced with the solemn ceremony of FLAG UNFLURING at 7:15 am, symbolizing the values of freedom, equality, and justice that our constitution upholds. As the national flag soared high, every heart swelled with pride, honouring the sacrifices of our forefathers and envisioning a brighter future for our beloved country. Followed by FLAG UNFLURING a colourful parade that showcased the cultural diversity of India was displayed by the student council.
The cultural extravaganza that ensued was a testament to the rich tapestry of Indian heritage. Students showcased their talents through soul-stirring tableau of Great Freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai, songs, mesmerizing dances. Each performance radiated energy and enthusiasm, captivating the audience and fostering a sense of unity among all present.
Our Chief Guest SUB. LT. RADHEY SHYAM SOLANKI delivered an inspiring speech, drawing parallels between the principles enshrined in the Indian Constitution and the ethos of the school. Emphasizing the importance of discipline, equality, and respect for diversity, He urged the students to become responsible citizens and contribute positively to society.
As the festivities drew to a close, the air was filled with jubilation and camaraderie. Sweets were distributed among the students, symbolizing the sweetness of freedom and the joy of celebrating our nation’s unity in diversity.
